The controller has not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as the conditions set out in Article 37 GDPR do not apply.

What this notice covers

This notice covers browsing on the website only. The processing of patient data as part of professional care — medical history, clinical records, invoicing — is governed by a separate notice, handed to you at the practice on your first visit.

The website is informational. It does not allow online booking, hosts no contact forms, collects no documents, publishes no reviews and does not accept comments.

Data we collect

Browsing data

The systems running the website automatically record certain technical data in the ordinary course of operation:

  • IP address and domain name of the device
  • Browser and operating system type and version
  • Date, time and duration of the visit
  • Pages viewed and navigation path

This data is not used to identify visitors and serves to keep the site working correctly and securely.

Data you send us yourself

The website has no contact forms. If you write to the published email address or call the practice, we process whatever you choose to tell us: your name, contact details and the content of your message.

Please do not include detailed information about your health in emails. If you do, that data falls within the special categories under Article 9 GDPR and we handle it with the safeguards described below — but given its nature it is better discussed in person or by phone.

Cookies and similar tools

The site uses technical cookies and, subject to your consent, cookies related to displaying maps. Details are in the Cookie Policy.

Data retention

Personal data is kept only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected for, according to the periods set out in the table in section 4. At the end of the period the data is deleted.

Emails are kept for 24 months after the exchange ends. If the contact leads to a professional relationship, the records follow the retention periods required for healthcare and administrative documentation, set out in the notice handed to you at the practice.

Transfers outside the EU

Using Google Maps involves a transfer of data to the United States. Routing of outbound email involves processing in Canada.

Transfers to the United States take place under the safeguards required by the GDPR: the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission (Art. 46 GDPR) and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, to which Google LLC adheres, for as long as it remains in force.

Transfers to Canada are covered by the adequacy decision adopted by the European Commission under Article 45 GDPR, recognising an adequate level of protection in that country.
